Mengusovce is a beutiful village with a magnificent view of the High Tatras´s panorama. The first reference leads us even to 13rd century when the village has been estabilished as a part of a spis- stiavnicke abbey. Local people had worked mainly in agriculture or in farms at that time. Nowadays, tourists can visit a Roman Catholic curch from 13rd century built in Roman- Gothic style. The church has been lately rebuilded. So, you can see it partly in Baroque design today.
